Houston is coming off a thrilling 24-20 win over Jacksonville this past weekend. Buffalo is 3-1, with its only miss coming last week, a 35-10 loss to the Ravens.

As for injuries, the Texans will be without running back Joe Mixon for the third week in a row. Mixon is still out with an ankle injury suffered in week two against the Bears that resulted from an illegal hip drop tackle. Running back Dameon Pierce is questionable. However, the team should get Tank Dell back. Please see further injury updates later in this article.

The Texans introduce new jerseys

Bills player to watch

DE AJ Epenesa. With Von Miller set to miss the next four games due to an NFL suspension for violating the league's code of conduct, the focus is on the fifth-year player. Epenesa has one sack in four starts and will have an even larger role, minus the 35-year-old Miller, who has been used primarily in passing situations. Miller is the NFL's active leader in sacks with 126 1/2, including three this season.

Texans player to keep an eye on

WR Nico Collins. The fourth-year pro posted the best performance of his career last week against the Jaguars: 12 catches for 151 yards and a touchdown. He leads the NFL with 489 receiving yards and is the first player in franchise history to have more than 450 receiving yards in the first four games. Sunday marked Collins' eighth 100-yard game of his career and his third of the season.

Key match

Houston WR Stefon Diggs faces his former team for the first time since a blockbuster trade brought him to the Texans. The four-time Pro Bowler is second on the team with 25 receptions for 233 yards. He has two receiving touchdowns and recorded the first rushing score of his career against the Jaguars. He spent the last four seasons in Buffalo, where he averaged more than 1,100 receiving yards each year, highlighted by an NFL-leading rushing yardage total and a career-high 1,535 yards receiving in 2020.
