M&S unveils 2022 Christmas food range, and yes… it’s incredible

Whether you want to hear it or not, the countdown to Christmas has officially begun. And let's be honest, who better to turn to Marks & Spencer for festive inspiration than us?

M&S has revealed its Christmas 2022 food and drink must-haves, featuring everything from light-up chocolate boxes to musical gingerbread houses, bottled cocktails to shortbread projection tins. Plus, they've just launched their food-to-order range, which includes everything from Camembert wreaths to handmade chocolate pine cones.

So, let's get started with the supermarket's incredible party food collection, shall we?

Say hello to Marks & Spencer's posh prawn and lobster cocktails, butternut and ricotta stacks and luxurious handmade Christmas cakes. And that's not all: there are Canadian scallop and chorizo ​​skewers, garlic butter brioche and Camembert wreaths, and lobster and mac crostini bites (starters for this year's festivities = check).

For mains, there's none other than M&S's Perfect Turkey Joint, smothered in a buttermilk broth, filled with pork, chestnuts, cranberries and sloe gin and topped with applewood smoked bacon. Yes, please!

There's also a roasted butternut squash tart, a mushroom, Camembert and parsnip tart and the best sausage roll ever.

As for desserts, you can enjoy a Santa's Cookie Pot (as good as it sounds), a white chocolate, passion fruit and mango snow globe, sherry trifle and a Get Your Skates On Colin. Yes, even Colin the Caterpillar has had a festive makeover!

On to the drinks… The highly anticipated bottled cocktails are back and now available in three delicious flavours: Blueberry & Elderflower Gin Bramble, Clementine Gin Martini and Sloegroni (a wintery twist on the classic bittersweet Negroni).

Next up, M&S has launched the first-ever Magical Light-Up Chocolate Workshop, a box of delicious mini gnomes and gingerbread men made from milk, dark, white and light chocolate, looking out over a dazzling festive scene that *really* lights up.

And the fun doesn't stop there, there's even a Starry Night Shortbread Selection Projection Tin!
