Zac Efron avoids rumors about Demi Moore

Demi, 49, who is believed to be currently undergoing treatment for substance abuse and an eating disorder, is said to have wanted more than just a friendship with 24-year-old Zac after the failure of her five-year marriage to Ashton Kutcher.

But when asked about the rumors, the 'High School Musical' star, who is good friends with Demi's daughter Rumer Willis (23), said on the US television show 'Extra': “I don't know, Rumer and I have been friends for a long time. I know Demi is going through some personal problems right now. I just wish her all the best. I hope she's doing well.”

However, the singer and actor was happy to reveal some of the techniques he uses to woo the ladies.

He said: “I was a musical freak, so any time we wanted to impress girls we would play a three-piece jazz quartet. Yeah, we did some pretty funny stuff.”

But despite his unusual methods, Zac still doesn't have a date for Valentine's Day.

He said, “Maybe I'll just sit at home… and cry,” before joking that he might “team up” with his 'The Lorax' co-star Taylor Swift, who also plans to spend the day alone.

He quickly added, “Wait, uh, no, we're really good friends. She's trying to teach me to play guitar.”
