Taylor Swift spends Christmas with her family at Travis Kelce's Chiefs game

Taylor Swift's first Christmas with Travis Kelce was unconventional due to his football schedule.

Swift, 34, attended the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Las Vegas Raiders in Kansas City, Missouri on Monday, December 25, where she cheered on the tight end, also 34. The singer brought her parents, Andrea And Scott Swiftwere part of the festivities. The trio entered Arrowhead Stadium alongside a Santa Claus carrying a sack full of presents and ringing a Christmas bell.

All three Swifts wore festive attire for the day. The Grammy winner wore a plaid skirt, black stockings and a red shirt to support the Chiefs. She wore her blonde locks up in a black bow and showed off her signature red lip. Andrea and Scott, for their part, wore Christmas-themed hats to celebrate the holiday.

Kelce had already hinted at his Christmas plans earlier this month. Although he had to work, he said People“It will be funny.”

As for how his family will spend the holidays, Kelce revealed that his brother, Jason Kelce“texted me and said he was going to celebrate afterward,” as his team, the Philadelphia Eagles, has a home game against the New York Giants on Monday. Travis confirmed he would follow his sibling's example and enjoy the Christmas festivities after his game or the next day.

Swift has become a regular attendee of Travis' games since her first appearance at Arrowhead Stadium in September, most recently making headlines when his team played the New England Patriots in Massachusetts on Dec. 17.

After Swift received some boos — but also a lot of love — from the crowd at Gillette Stadium, Travis addressed the incident on the Wednesday, December 20, episode of his and Jason's “New Heights” podcast.

“I'm telling you, they showed Taylor at the game, and you don't see the whole home team fan base go crazy when someone wears the opposing team's colors,” Travis said. “It shows how incredible this girl is.”

Travis continued to downplay the negative reactions to Swift's presence. “They went completely nuts when they showed Taylor on the screen. … Maybe a few Brads and Chads booed, but for the most part everyone was fucking yelling at Taylor,” he noted. “I tried to keep my cool and said, 'Don't put your cards on the table.'”

Swift, who was accompanied by her father, Scott Swiftat the game on December 17, was largely welcomed by NFL fans. She ignored the few naysayers.

“I don't know how they know which suite I'm in. … I'm just here to support Travis,” she explained in her Time Cover story earlier this month. “I have no idea if I'm being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads and Chads.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Taylor explained the timeline of her romance with Travis, revealing that they were “hanging out at the same time” after he “adorably” asked her to do so on his podcast in July.

“We actually had a significant amount of time where nobody knew about us, which I'm grateful for because we got to know each other,” she said. “When I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to forcefully start a first date.”
