Santa Claus visits Prince George on December 1st

The Festival of Trees will host a parade this year as part of its annual Christmas celebrations

Santa Claus will pay a special visit to this year's Festival of Trees on December 1st.

Organizers of the annual Christmas celebration have announced that longtime sponsor Kopar Administration will present the festival's first Santa Claus parade.

“We are incredibly grateful to the Kopar administration for their generous support,” said CEO Aimee Cassie of the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation, the festival's host. “Their commitment to our community is truly inspiring and we are excited to bring the joy of the Santa Claus Parade to life with their help.”

The Santa Claus Parade features floats, walking groups and music, culminating in the appearance of Santa Claus himself.

There is plenty of room for participants. To participate in the parade, contact Bailey Grose at [email protected].

This year's Festival of Trees will be held at the Prince George Civic Centre from November 27 to December 1 and will feature themed decorated trees, a silent auction, live entertainment and family-friendly activities.
