The Journées du Patrimoine (Days of Heritage) will take place this weekend, 21 and 22 September 2024! Celebrated throughout France, these special days open the door to the rich history of our heritage and reveal the hidden treasures of our towns and villages. And Sarcelles is no exception and will mark this occasion with a whole series of visits and events.

Sarcellesis located in the Val d'Oise Département, has a rich history. Its history dates back to the Merovingian period and over the centuries Sarcelles has changed while preserving a diverse heritage. From its old Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul church to the remains of its rural past, the city offers an impressive panorama of urban and cultural development.

In the Heritage House

  • “Greetings sur ta ville” exhibition
    21 and 22 September

    Exhibition of the project “Regards sur ta ville”, a mix of graffiti, photography and embroidery that brought together residents of all ages from Arnouville, Écouen and Sarcelles to create over forty colourful collective urban paintings.
    Artists Géraud Delort, a graffiti artist, Lucy Winckelmann, a photo artist, and Judith Vittet, a textile artist, offered residents the opportunity to see their city in a new light through a series of workshops from February to June 2024.
