Manatee County couples tie the knot in a group wedding ceremony on Valentine's Day. Watch

Six couples formed a gently curving line next to the historic Manatee County Courthouse in downtown Bradenton on a sunny Valentine's Day.

Well-wishers and onlookers smiled as the bride and groom walked in a small procession to a white gazebo Wednesday afternoon while a keyboardist played soft music at the Clerks' fourth annual Valentine's Day group wedding.

A man wearing a top hat, black patent leather shoes and a heart-shaped suit offered Hershey's Kisses on a silver platter.

“Would you like a kiss?” said the man who called himself “Joe” with a wink.

Angel Colonneso, Manatee County Clerk of Court and Auditor, presided over the hearing from a small podium.

After the ceremony, the couples received cupcakes, posed for photos and were greeted with good wishes.
