Rihanna 'breaks hearts and breaks necks' in Savage X Fenty Valentine's Day campaign

Rihanna is ready for Valentine's Day.

On Thursday, the 34-year-old musician released a steamy announcement video for Savage X Fenty's Valentine's Day campaign, in which she posed seductively in a see-through black lace bodysuit.

As the words “V-DAY 2023” appeared on the screen, the video cut to various poses of Rihanna while the sound of breaking glass could be heard in the background over a mid-tempo beat.

“Pluck yo Roses ♥️,” Rihanna wrote, as the lingerie brand also shared the announcement on its social media account, writing, “Breaking hearts and snapping necks ❤️‍🔥 #XXSavageX.”

The sexy Instagram announcement comes just days after the release of the limited edition 17-piece Savage X Fenty Game Day collection in honor of Rihanna's upcoming performance at the Super Bowl halftime show.

Sporty drop pieces include a two-tone jersey and a cheeky T-shirt that reads, “Rihanna concert interrupted by football game, weird but whatever,” with a photo of Rihanna wearing a football helmet on the inside of the shirt.

The singer most recently demonstrated her fashion sense on Tuesday at her Golden Globes debut in a ball gown.

Nominated for Best Original Song along with Tems, Ludwig Göransson and Ryan Coogler for their work on “Lift Me Up” from the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Soundtrack, she attended the Golden Globes ceremony along with her boyfriend and father of her child A$AP Rocky in a ruffled black dress.

The gorgeous dress featured a velvet bustier, matching velvet gloves and a voluminous velvet wrap cape with puffed sleeves. Rihanna accessorized with diamonds by Cartier, including a teardrop diamond necklace, a jewelled Roger Vivier clutch and Giuseppe Zanotti heels to complete the look.
