Aldi's Christmas tree-shaped brioche breads provide a cheerful and happy carbohydrate intake

By Delish

Everyone loves bread and the beauty of this food is that it comes in so many forms. Brioche is definitely one of the best options, don't you think? We have an excellent recipe if you want to make bread from scratch. But if you'd rather spend your time eating it plain, Aldi makes a loaf of star-shaped brioche that hits the spot.

Aldi's shelves are always stocked with great party items like crab rangoon dip and bottles of boozy chocolate bubbly, but the simpler items are hits too. Around the holidays, Aldi offers festive editions of staples like cheese, ravioli and now bread, so you can be sure your buffet will be perfect.

The loaves were spotted at Aldi by @aldiforpresident, and other Aldi fan accounts have spotted tree-shaped bread, if that's more your December feeling. The loaf is only $5.99 and is shaped like an eight-pointed star, so if you have a larger family, it will definitely feed everyone at the table.

Because of the unique texture of brioche bread, it's also a great choice if you're planning on making some sort of pull-apart bread dip, whipping up decadent French toast on Christmas morning, or using your leftovers for sandwiches after the big feast. Either way, you can't go wrong, just make sure to leave some room for all the cookies you'll be baking, of course!
