Taylor Swift | Nikki Glaser praises Taylor Swift

Nikki Glaser praised Taylor Swift for cancelling her concerts in Vienna.

Taylor's three concerts in Austria were cancelled after authorities uncovered a planned terrorist attack at the Ernst Happel Stadium. Comedian Nikki, who had tickets to see Taylor perform in Vienna, believes that cancelling the concerts was the right decision.

She told Variety: “I didn't even think about my safety. I just thought, 'I'm not going to see Taylor!' It was such a selfish thought. I'm obviously so glad everyone is safe and she made the right decision.”

“I was just desperate. I follow Taylor on tour as much as I follow myself on tour.” Whenever I'm not on tour, I find out where she is and go there. I'm kind of addicted to it. I was devastated.

“I'm just going to ride around town on a double-decker bus wearing my Tortured Poets watch choker, my bustier and my skirt. I have to use it somehow.”

However, Nikki admitted that she had already seen the “Eras Tour” show 17 times, so “no one should really feel sorry for me.”

It has since become known that a suspect in the foiled terrorist attack on the concert had only started working at the venue a few days earlier.

Officials said a 17-year-old boy suspected of being behind the plot began working at the arena days before the cancellation.

He is said to have been employed by a building services company that provided services at the stadium during shows before he was arrested nearby by special police units.

A second suspect, 19 years old, was also arrested.

According to Omar Haijawi-Pirchner, head of the Directorate for State Security and Intelligence, the suspect wanted to commit suicide and “kill a large crowd at the concert.”
