British diver Tom Daley announces his baby on Valentine's Day

British diver Tom Daley and his husband Dustin Lance Black announced they are expecting their first child in an Instagram post for Valentine's Day on Wednesday. Daley, who won gold in the 10m platform diving at the World Championships in Budapest last year, posted a picture of the couple holding up a black-and-white image of a baby ultrasound to the camera, with the message “Happy Valentine's Day!” to his 1.9 million followers. “Tom and Dustin are thrilled to announce they are expecting their first child in 2018,” a spokesperson for 23-year-old Olympic diver Daley said. His American husband posted another photo on Twitter. “Happy Valentine's Day from us to you,” he wrote, adding an emoji of a family of three. The couple got engaged in 2015 and married last year. Daley, who has won three world championship gold medals and two Olympic bronze medals, came out as gay in a 2013 YouTube video in which he said he was “dating a guy and couldn't be happier,” and last year he spoke about wanting children. “We're not planning on having kids straight away, but we want them in the future,” he told the Daily Mirror newspaper. “I've always been a family man, so I've always wanted kids, and I know Lance wants that too. I don't know how many – an army of kids, a whole diving team. We're both lucky to have supportive families and we want to share that with our own kids.”
