50 Cent receives praise from Shreveport police chief for his crime-free festival

50 cents receives praise from Shreveport Police Chief for putting on an epic, crime-free comedy and music festival…especially against the backdrop of the city.

50 hosted Dave Chappelle, Kat Williams, Andrew Schulz, Matt Rice, Bill Bellamy and other comedians for the 4-day event “Humor & Harmony” that started last Thursday. There were performances by DaBaby, Master P, A Boogie, Moneybag, yo, Muni Lang and 50 himself, among many others.

Shreveport already has more than its fair share of crime problems, and the police were prepared for any potential conflict with the huge crowds that came to the festival. In the end, there was not a single incident, and the officers were extremely grateful to the 50 who provided security.

Police Chief of Shreveport Wayne Smith 50 and his team contributed significantly to the safety of the event with good planning, resources and masterful execution, TMZ says. The boss added: “I haven't seen this kind of positive activity downtown since the late 80s!”

The boss called 50 after the end of the festival to express his thanks.
