LVT integrates Axon’s Real-Time Crime Center platform to improve public safety

Mobile security units from LVT and the integrated real-time crime control center deployment technology from Fusus by Axon ensure a better overview of the situation.

AMERICAN FORK, Utah — Mobile security solutions provider LiveView Technologies, Inc. (LVT) has entered into a strategic partnership with global public safety technology provider Axon and is integrating its real-time crime center (RTCC) technology, Fusus by Axon.

By combining information from LVT's mobile, solar-powered security units with Axon's advanced Fusus real-time operations platform, retailers, businesses and law enforcement agencies can “more effectively monitor potential security threats and respond with optimal situational awareness,” the joint announcement said.

LVT manages a fleet of mobile security units that are commonly deployed in parking lots, construction sites and other strategic locations to increase visibility in traditionally difficult to monitor areas or to fill gaps in existing security coverage.

Through the Axon integration, LVT customers can optionally share footage with police during an incident to give them a better understanding of the situation and prepare accordingly, potentially saving the lives of first responders and citizens.

More about Real-Time Crime Center technology

Axon equips first responders with the technology and support they need to protect communities and expedite justice. Axon acquired Fusus in February 2024 to strengthen its real-time operations solution, combining Fusus' real-time situational awareness expertise with Axon's public safety technology for greater safety in any environment.

“Vendors across the security ecosystem are developing siloed technologies, preventing countless teams from gaining adequate situational awareness and best protecting their communities,” said Steve Lindsey, chief technology officer of LVT, in the joint announcement.

“Integrating Axon's real-time capabilities with LVT will enable organizations and law enforcement to respond to a major incident in real time and with complete situational awareness,” he says. “In a situation where every second counts, public-private integrations like this will help increase safety in communities.”

Under this new collaboration, Fusus by Axon's real-time crime center platform will directly integrate insights from LVT's AI platform to provide better security intelligence and coverage. Axon and LVT's solutions are designed to improve security coverage and proactively identify potential incidents, implement deterrence strategies, and shorten the window to police response when needed.

Law enforcement agencies use Axon and LVT to develop immediate response strategies and support evidence collection needs.

“LVT has developed a proven security solution to better enable enterprises and law enforcement agencies to reduce crime and successfully contain security incidents,” said Mike Shore, senior vice president and general manager of enterprise at Axon, in the joint announcement.

“The seamless integration of our intelligence platforms provides businesses and law enforcement agencies with more immediate information that enables better-informed decisions and helps protect more lives in more places,” he says.
