Charles County detectives are looking for information following a recent series of car thefts

Charles County Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward for information leading to the capture of the suspect(s) involved in a car theft and attempted theft of another vehicle.

On August 13, an unknown suspect(s) stole an Infiniti sedan parked on Sourwood Avenue in Waldorf at night. During the investigation, officers searched the area and noticed a Lexus vehicle also parked on Sourwood Avenue with its windows smashed.

In recent weeks, several vehicle thefts have been reported throughout the county.

Anyone with information regarding these thefts is asked to call Detective Sgt. Hemsley at 301-609-6562.
