Skai Jackson evades jail search questions during TikTok Live after assault arrest

Skai Jackson has returned to social media after her recent arrest, but has remained tight-lipped about her legal troubles.

During a TikTok Live on Wednesday, the 22-year-old “Jessie” alum was bombarded by fans questioning her about her arrest and assault citation on August 9.

“Girl, what happened to you and prison?” one user asked. But instead of answering questions about her time behind bars, Jackson talked about an upcoming project she recently finished filming.

The “Jessie” actress, seen above in a screenshot of the live session, dodged questions about her arrest while speaking to fans.

“I have a TV show that I just filmed, but I can't say what it is yet,” she said during the live broadcast.

However, one social media user countered, accusing Jackson of reading out “fake questions” to avoid the investigation into her recent arrest.

“She answers everything except our questions,” wrote another user.

Jackson was also active on Instagram on Wednesday, sharing a car selfie in one slide and a link to her Snapchat profile in another.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department told Page Six earlier this week that Jackson had run into legal trouble after she had a heated argument with her boyfriend at Universal CityWalk in Hollywood, California.

When security noticed that the “Bunk'd” actress pushed her boyfriend more than once, police were called to the scene.

After authorities reviewed footage of the incident, Jackson was escorted off the premises by police and released several hours later.

Both Jackson and her boyfriend denied that a physical altercation had occurred, even though their interaction was caught on camera.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office will decide whether to file charges against the actress.

At the time of the arrest, the couple said they were engaged and expecting a baby.

Not much more is known about Jackson's relationship with her boyfriend, as the actress keeps her love life largely private and off social media.
