Two injured in Molino accident with significant fuel leak: NorthEscambia.com

An accident between a car and a truck in Molino on Wednesday morning left two people injured and there was also a significant diesel leak.

The accident occurred around 8:05 a.m. on Highway 95A at the corner of Bet Raines Road.

According to Escambia County, two people were taken by emergency services to a nearby hospital.

About 35 gallons of fuel spilled, according to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. The Escambia County Highway Department provided three truckloads of dirt to contain the spill. The department said the dirt was removed from the roadway and placed at the side of the road for disposal.

The Florida Highway Patrol investigated the accident. The Escambia County Fire Department and the Escambia County Sheriff's Office were also on scene.
