Local animal keeper injured in road traffic aggression

Raahshaun Thomas suffered a broken ankle after being attacked in a road rage incident on August 8. She was driving home from work when she encountered an SUV that she said was driving recklessly. She says the driver tried to run her off the road, eventually throwing soda bottles at her vehicle and physically “assaulting” her.

She runs Furry Critters Mobile Salon, a pet grooming salon, and was forced to temporarily close her business.

Thomas couldn't get pictures of the license plate, but she did have pictures of the car, which showed a silver Chevy with missing front license plates. She also describes the driver as a tall Hispanic woman with glasses and neck-length hair with highlights.

This despite the fact that California was recently ranked at the top of Forbes Advisor’s list of “most confrontational drivers.”

Thomas has set up a GoFundMe page to support her recovery.
