Dragon Age: The Veilguard: Halloween release date leaked

The release date for BioWare's next Dragon Age game appears to have leaked.

Video games and leaks seem to be inextricably linked, and the latest victim is BioWare's Dragon Age: The Veilguard. It seems that the game's release date was leaked ahead of the official reveal, and it's coming much sooner than expected.


On August 15, 2024, Wario64 took to social media to alert the town square that Dragon Age: The Veilguard was coming out on October 31, 2024 – the spookiest of dates. This post was linked to a Streamable, which features a roughly 20-second teaser of gameplay and some cinematics that ended with the Halloween release date.

Players already knew it would be coming out sometime in the fall of this year. Usually that means sometime in the last quarter (Q4), so an October release is right on schedule. Other than that, we don't really know much about the game. We have the voice cast list and even got a sneak peek at the beginning of the game, but BioWare titles are incredibly dense, so there's probably a whole lot more to learn.
