A Kane man is behind bars in Warren County for allegedly allowing an undercover Warren County Drug Enforcement agent to sell crack and heroin.

David A. Wolfe, 29, was charged on August 8.

Chief District Investigator Tom Kibbey told the Times Observer on Tuesday that the incident occurred around 10 p.m. on August 7 in Sheffield Township.

“Wolfe communicated with an undercover task force agent and agreed to sell the officer crack and heroin,” Said Kibbey.

Investigators then reportedly encountered Wolfe, who was arrested by task force members with assistance from the Pennsylvania State Police after arriving at the scene.

“Wolfe was found to be in possession of approximately 11 grams of suspected fentanyl and approximately two grams of crack cocaine,” Kibbey said: “Digital scales and other drug paraphernalia were also found on him.”

“(The) inspection sticker on his vehicle was also fake and did not belong to the vehicle on which it was affixed.”

Wolfe was taken to the county jail and arraigned on Thursday morning.

Online court records show he was jailed because he could not make the $50,000 bail.

Charges against Wolfe include two counts of possession with intent to resell, criminal use of a communication facility, possession of a crime tool, possession/sale/use of exhibit documents, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal operation of a vehicle without an ignition interlock, and possession of marijuana.
