Police identify victim in Texarkana shooting | The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

TEXARKANA – Police have identified the victim of the second fatal shooting at a Texarkana apartment complex in less than two years.

Marious L. Bradley, 17, died Monday evening at the scene at the Brook Hollow Apartments, said Kristen Schultz, public information officer for the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department.

Police have not yet publicly released the name of a suspect.

At around 8:20 p.m. on Monday, police were called to the 2500 block of East 24th Street after a shooting was reported.

At the crime scene they found Bradley with gunshot wounds.

Officers performed life-saving measures, but the teenager succumbed to his injuries, Schultz said.

Bradley did not live in the apartments, Schultz said.

Brook Hollow was the site of the fatal shooting of Aaron Bruce on December 25, 2022. Earlier this year, brothers Tarus Melek Walker and Nathaniel Fort were found guilty of capital crimes in Bruce's death and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
