Average gasoline prices in LA and Orange County rise

The average price for a gallon of regular gasoline at self-dispensing stations in Los Angeles County rose by one-tenth of a cent to $4.573 on Thursday, after rising by seven-tenths of a cent a day earlier.

The average price is two-tenths of a cent lower than a week ago, 16.6 cents lower than a month ago and 68.1 cents lower than a year ago, according to figures from AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. The price has fallen by $1.921 since its record high of $6.494 on October 5, 2022.

The average price in Orange County rose a tenth of a cent to $4.498, a day after a 1 cent increase. That's 1.2 cents more than a week ago, 15.7 cents less than a month ago and 71.2 cents less than a year ago. The average price in Orange County has fallen $1.961 since rising to a record high of $6.459 on October 5, 2022.
