19-year-old arrested, faces nearly a dozen charges of sexual exploitation

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – A Horry County man faces nearly a dozen sexual exploitation charges after investigators received a tip about his online activity.

The Horry County Sheriff's Office said 19-year-old John Fisher Lunn was arrested Wednesday by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force on 11 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

Investigators received tips from Verizon, Snapchat and Discord about his alleged criminal activities between January and July of this year.

WMBF News reached out to Robert Kittle, a representative of the South Carolina Attorney General's Office, about the case and was told details would be released late Thursday or Friday.

The case is being prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office.

Lunn is being held at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center awaiting trial.
