Katy Perry receives Video Vanguard Award at the 2024 MTV VMAs

Pop icon Katy Perry has been selected to receive one of MTV's highest honors – the coveted Video Vanguard Award – at the 2024 Video Music Awards and will also perform a stunning, career-spanning medley of her greatest hits.

On Wednesday, September 11, Katy Perry will take the stage at the 2024 VMAs. She was added to the official artist list today, joining Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, Camila Cabello, GloRillaAnd Rauw Alejandroand will be no later than MTV Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award Winner.

Perry is in good company among the previous award winners, which include world-famous superstars such as Shakira, Nicki Minaj, Missy Elliott, Jennifer Lopez, P!nk, Beyonce, Rihanna, Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spearsand many more.

The 2024 Video Music Awards will be broadcast on Wednesday, September 11th at 8:00 p.m. ET from the UBS Arena in Elmont, NY on Long Island and will be broadcast on the MTV Broadcasting Network at 8:00 p.m. PT. The full list of nominees can be found HERE.
