Mike McCarthy criticizes Albert Huggins after incident at training between Cowboys and Rams

Dallas Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy reprimanded defensive tackle Albert Huggins a day after Huggins was excluded from a joint practice session with the Los Angeles Rams for shoving a Rams employee to the ground.

“His behavior is obviously unacceptable,” McCarthy said Thursday, according to ESPN.com. “It's something that's been addressed. He apologized and I'm pleased with his apology. I was obviously on the offensive side of the field when it happened. I had an opportunity to speak with (Rams defensive coordinator) Mike Zimmer and (Rams coach) Sean McVay.”

“When it happened, we suspended him from practice. Honestly, when I saw the video a few hours after practice, I called Sean again. His response was, 'You would have been proud of how your coaches reacted.' I just want to make sure that behavior is not accepted. Emotional discipline in that moment — that's not what we're about. And (Huggins) clearly understands that.”
