Pennsylvania man allegedly shot at his vehicle in an incident of driving aggression on US15

THURMONT, Maryland – A Pennsylvania man was charged Thursday following a road rage incident in Thurmont, Maryland.

Officers responded to reports of shots fired in the area shortly after 7:30 a.m. and exited southbound US15 at Tippin Drive.

Evidence of a shooting was found on the passenger side of the victim's vehicle, but the victim was not injured.

The suspect vehicle was later described as a maroon Chevrolet SUV with Pennsylvania license plates.

State police found the SUV parked at a business in Thurmont and encountered the suspect, 37-year-old Bryant Paradine, inside the business.

While executing a search warrant, police found a 9mm pistol and an empty cartridge case of the same caliber as those found at the crime scene.

Paradine was arrested and taken to the Maryland State Police Frederick Barrack.

He is accused of attempted murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a crime and other offenses.
