Comanche County Memorial Hospital is hosting a job fair to fill positions

LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) – Comanche County Memorial Hospital hosted a job fair at the Lawton Farmers Market.

The first part of the job fair lasted from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and continued later in the evening from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Taylor Farmer, CCMH's administrative director of human resources, said anyone with a healthcare degree is welcome to apply, and even people with no healthcare experience are invited. The hospital was looking to hire for a variety of positions, including business services, nursing, technical positions and admissions services.

“We really want to help our community. We think the best thing is for people to care here in our community,” Farmer said. “Our friends, our neighbors or families, we all see how people care here and we want to continue what we've been doing for over 70 years and we want to continue doing that for the next 70 years.”

In addition, there were contact persons on site at the event who helped all participants to fill out the various forms and applications.

The event also included some gifts, snacks and a raffle.
