Many cocktail connoisseurs credit Aviation with creating the Ginaissance, a new wave of gin enjoyment among average Americans. While Ryan Reynolds didn't start the company himself, he knew it was worth investing in after his first sip of Aviation American Gin in 2018—and he's since purchased the brand. Founded in Portland, Aviation Gin is a great liquor to try if you're not looking for something too dry for a Wolverine-worthy tasting gin, or if you don't normally reach for this liquor when ordering your signature cocktail.

You also get a smoother, cleaner taste thanks to the unique distillation process and dedication to making the gin in smaller batches of 100 cases. Reynolds is no stranger to his Aviation promotional stunts, such as launching the gin's “Vasectomy Cocktail” on Father's Day last year, but the launch of these sleek bottles is relatively tame in comparison.
