Florida police charge man with murder after he drove a semi-trailer into a Tampa strip club

A North Carolina man accused of driving a tractor-trailer into a gentlemen's club in Tampa, Florida, on Tuesday morning, killing one person and injuring two others, has been charged with murder and several other crimes, police said.

Tampa police said Dylan Fogle, 25, of Thomasville, North Carolina, was charged with first-degree murder, two counts of attempted murder, vehicular manslaughter, two counts of drunken driving causing serious bodily harm and vehicular manslaughter while under the influence of alcohol.

At around 4:20 a.m. Tuesday morning, officers responded to a report that a pedestrian had been struck by a truck in the parking lot of Emperors Gentlemen's Club on Adamo Drive.

When officers arrived, they saw that a truck had crashed into the front area of ​​the building, which leads to the entrance of the erotic establishment.

Witnesses told police that Fogle was thrown out of the club shortly before he returned and drove his semi-trailer into a group of people standing at the entrance.

A preliminary investigation revealed that Fogle was removed from the facility for inappropriate conduct.

According to police, six people were standing at the entrance, including three victims.

The other two adult men suffered serious injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital. Both victims have since been released from the hospital.

Fogle was also taken to the hospital. Police said he had a blood alcohol level above the legal limit of 0.08 percent.
