Accident involving motorcycle and pedestrian in Phoenix: 2 injured

PHOENIX — According to the Phoenix Fire Department, both parties were taken to a Phoenix hospital Thursday evening after an accident involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian.

Emergency crews were called to the parking lot of a gym near 56th Street and Thunderbird Road at 9 p.m. Thursday and found the people, who were taken to a hospital, in “extremely critical condition.” Footage from Sky12 shows a large police presence at the scene, with an area cordoned off near the entrance to the parking lot.

Phoenix police are investigating the accident.
