Teen arrested for shooting that left one person injured in Pasco on August 12 | News

PASCO, Wash. – One person was hospitalized following a shooting on Chapel Hill Boulevard on Aug. 12, which led to the arrest of a juvenile two days later.

Pasco police responded to a call in the area of ​​Chapel Hill Boulevard and Broadmoor Boulevard around 7:13 p.m. on reports of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found a male juvenile who had been shot in the upper body.

According to PPD, the victim was conscious and alert after the shooting and was transported to the hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening at this time.

Through investigations, police determined that both the victim and the shooter were members of rival gangs.

On August 14, after several search warrants were executed in the Tri-Cities, the suspected shooter was found at an apartment complex in Richland and taken into custody without any problems.










The PPD received assistance in making the arrest from the Richland SCU, Benton County Gang Unit, Kennewick CAT Team and Tri-City METRO Unit.
