Viral Video Blake Lively is under fire for nightmarish 2016 interview with Norwegian interviewer Kjersti Flaa

Amid the ongoing drama surrounding “It Ends With Us,” actress Blake Lively is also being criticized for a 2016 interview in which she made a sarcastic remark to the interviewer.

The incident occurred during the promotion of Blake's film “Cafe Society,” when Norwegian reporter Kjersti Flaa was interviewing the actor. The interview began tensely, with Flaa congratulating Blake on her pregnancy, which had recently been announced.

Blake, who recently appeared on “It Ends With Us,” did not react positively to the comment, replying, “Congratulations on your little belly!”

Eight years later, Flaa spoke about the experience and revealed that it made her want to quit her job.

A source close to Blake recently said People that while they didn't speak to her about the 2016 interview, they agreed with her reaction. “You're a journalist in Hollywood interviewing a working mother and you can't think of anything better than starting the interview with 'Congratulations on your little bump'? Of course Blake was annoyed,” they said.

The source sharply criticized the interviewer's statement, adding: “She is expecting a child. If you feel the need to acknowledge that she is pregnant, at least do it respectfully.”

Fans weighed in on the situation in the comments section of Flaa's YouTube channel and Instagram handle. One person wrote, “Her best comment was about the misconception that we actually know these actors. She's right. She's always been portrayed as such a nice person when in reality she's so mean and horrible. This treatment from the interviewer was disgusting (sic).” Another person wrote, “Guys this woman has 11k followers. Until yesterday she probably had half of that. Obviously she was hoping for some influence. Well done Lille Kjerstiiiii enjoy your 5 minutes (sic).”

Blake Lively and Colleen Hoover, the author of “It Ends With Us,” have been harshly criticized for promoting the film as a romance while avoiding its deeper, more serious themes.

In addition, the film’s marketing has attracted more attention than the film itself, with a Rumor has it that there is a conflict between Lively and her co-star Justin Baldoniwho also directed “It Ends With Us”.
