The shooting occurred shortly before 8:30 a.m. at a home on Hickory Street between Fort Lee Road and Degraw Avenue.

Multiple law enforcement agencies responded, including the Teaneck Police Department and the District Attorney's Office.

Neighbors told CBS New York they heard the shots while eating breakfast.

“I was drinking coffee and heard nothing, just sirens, and then suddenly – pow, pow, pow – three shots,” said neighbor Florentino Buluyut. “I said, 'What's going on in there?'”

Prosecutors said a gun with an unidentifiable serial number, also known as a “ghost gun,” was found near the crime scene.
