Mexican boxing legend Canelo Alvarez will put his undisputed super middleweight title on the line in his traditional Mexican Independence Day weekend fight when he faces Puerto Rican Edward Berlanga on Saturday, September 14, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Berlanga has a record of 22-0, with 17 of his wins coming by knockout. This will be Alvarez's first fight since he knocked out Jaime Munguía in May.
