Massachusetts man charged with murder of 73-year-old father

A Plymouth, Massachusetts, man was charged Friday with murder in the death of his 73-year-old father. Anthony Paluzzi was pronounced dead after his wife found him unconscious with a laceration on his neck in the couple's Cedar Road home early Thursday morning. His son Matthew Paluzzi, 26, was charged with murder after he was later found in Hanover. Mattew Paluzzi told police he had ongoing mental health issues and was “spinning,” prosecutors said. Neighbors wondered what happened between father and son early Thursday morning. “It's just devastating,” said Lisa Caola, a family friend. “We're going to miss him very much. I don't know what else to say.” Paluzzi was held without bail and is scheduled to appear in court for a hearing to determine the charges in October.
