Police release photos of wanted suspects in connection with shooting on city bus in Kalihi

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Honolulu Police Department has released new surveillance photos of two men wanted in connection with a shooting in Kalihi last Friday.

According to police, a 17-year-old boy was a passenger on a city bus when he was hit by a bullet fired by two men on a moped.

Paramedics administered advanced life support to the teenager, who had been shot in the torso, and took him to the emergency room in serious condition.

Investigators believe the two suspects are in their late teens or early 20s.

A suspect was last seen wearing an orange/red hat, a black face mask, a light t-shirt, blue sweatpants, black shoes and a black backpack.

The second suspect was last seen wearing a red baseball cap, black face mask, light-colored t-shirt, orange pants, black shoes and a black backpack.

Both suspects are said to have tanned skin and a slim figure.

According to HPD, the suspected vehicle may be a blue Amigo Rambo scooter.
