ST. CLOUD – A St. Cloud man has been sentenced to 74 years in prison on several charges related to a quadruple shooting in St. Cloud in 2022.

Bryant Garth II, 28, of St. Cloud was sentenced on Thursday, Aug. 15, in Stearns County District Court by Judge William J. Cashman, according to a news release from the Stearns County District Attorney's Office.

Garth was found guilty in a jury trial on April 15, 2024. He was sentenced Thursday for possession of a firearm as a felon and aiding and abetting attempted premeditated murder in four separate counts, the press release said.

The jury also found Garth liable for aggravating circumstances in the commission of the crimes, including the active participation of three or more people in the crimes, and found Garth to be a dangerous offender, the press release said.

Garth is one of three men charged in the July 6, 2022, shooting. A criminal complaint filed against Garth says he and two others fired multiple shots that struck four men near the intersection of 11th Avenue and Sixth Street South in St. Cloud at around 5:47 p.m. on July 6.

According to court documents, a 15-year-old boy was shot in the neck and shoulder. A 21-year-old was shot in the head. Another 21-year-old was shot in the chest and a 19-year-old was shot in the elbow.

Two other men involved in the case were previously found guilty: 22-year-old Jamarcus Morris was sentenced to 72 years in prison and 30-year-old Daquan Ledbetter was sentenced to 63 years in prison.
