Two people were arrested in connection with several burglaries in Napa after a BOLO alert was issued from Solano County.

On August 5, Benicia police officers responded to a BOLO (Be On the Lookout) alert from the American Canyon Police Department regarding a vehicle linked to several burglaries in Napa.

An automatic license plate reader recognized the vehicle, which was later found in a parking lot at the corner of Military and East 2nd.

Officers made contact with a suspect who fled on foot but was quickly arrested.

A second suspect also attempted to flee on foot across East 2nd. The suspect was soon arrested.

The Napa County Sheriff's Office reportedly searched the vehicle and seized $4,000 in cash, a cell phone and other personal items related to the break-ins.

One of the suspects was identified as being on parole and recently released from prison. Both suspects were arrested and taken to jail, police said.
