Quinntel Bagley, wanted felon in Lima, Ohio, arrested

A wanted fugitive and kidnapping suspect who escaped from a Lancaster hospital under police escort two months ago was arrested Friday in northwest Ohio, the U.S. Marshals said in a news release.

Quinntel Bagley, 38, was arrested in Lima, Ohio, in the 400 block of Cornell Drive in Allen County. He is in custody at the Allen County Jail, where he will remain pending an extradition hearing, according to the U.S. Marshals. The Ohio State Highway Patrol, Allen County Sheriff's Department, Lima police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation assisted in Bagley's arrest.

Michael D. Black, U.S. Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, told The Dispatch on Friday that they had received “a good tip” on Bagley's whereabouts and that Bagley had a girlfriend in Lima who lived in the house where he was hiding. Black said that while Bagley did not resist arrest, officers had to enter the house to arrest him.
