Bengals' new look leaks early: Team unveils orange pants worn for the first time in franchise history

For the first time in franchise history, the Cincinnati Bengals will wear orange pants to a game. The Bengals have been around since 1968 and in the 56 years since then they have worn either black or white pants, but that will change for at least one game next season.

The Bengals unveiled the orange pants on Monday, but that appeared to be a day earlier than they planned to release them.

The Bengals decided to release the pants early after the new look was leaked in, of all things, a VIDEO GAME. Someone playing Madden 25 noticed that it was possible to have the Bengals wear orange pants in the game, and that team made the Madden leak even more exciting by responding to the tweet, which showed a picture of a player wearing orange pants.

Less than an hour later, the Bengals confirmed the existence of their orange pants with a hilarious photo.

If you're wondering why the Bengals revealed their new pants on a hanger, there's actually a good reason for that. When they revealed their new uniforms in 2021, the jerseys leaked early on eBay and the leaked jerseys were photographed on a hanger, so the team clearly played up that theme when unveiling the orange pants.

It's unclear how often the Bengals will wear the orange pants this year, but the team has announced that the new look will be used in at least one game, on a Thursday night in Week 16 when Cincinnati hosts Cleveland.

On Friday, the Bengals announced that they will wear all orange when they host the Patriots in Week 1.

The new orange pants are a nice addition to a uniform combination that is already one of the best in the NFL.
