Man killed in shooting in vacant Las Vegas apartment

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (FOX5) – Las Vegas police found a man with a gunshot wound in a vacant East Valley apartment.

Police said they received a report of a shooting in the 3000 block of South Nellis Boulevard near Vegas Valley Drive around 6:46 p.m. on August 15.

When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound. The doctor said he died at the scene.

The LVMPD Homicide Unit is investigating. The victim's identity and the cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner's Office.
