San Jose Police Make Arrest in 2023 Murder Case – NBC Bay Area

San Jose police announced Friday the arrest of a man suspected of shooting two people in 2023, killing one and injuring the other.

Police arrested Pablo Davila-Martinez on Tuesday and booked him into the Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of murder.

On May 29, 2023 at 9:48 p.m., San Jose Police responded to a report of a shooting in the area of ​​Willow and Lelong Streets.

When officers arrived, they found a woman with at least one gunshot wound. She was taken to a hospital and survived her injuries.

Officers subsequently found a man in a nearby camp who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are still investigating the motive and circumstances of the shooting, which is the city's 12th homicide in 2023.
