Cumberland Police execute arrest warrant for trespassing

CUMBERLAND, Maryland. — On Thursday, August 15, 2024, Cumberland Police issued an arrest warrant for Brittany Alice Loscig, 26, of Cumberland. The warrant was issued following an incident that occurred on August 12, 2024, in the 400 block of Baltimore Avenue.

Officers responded to a report of trespassing and made contact with Loscig. After an investigation, it was determined that Loscig was unlawfully on the property pursuant to an eviction order dated June 24, 2024. An officer then filed charges against Loscig in District Court, which resulted in the issuance of an arrest warrant.

Loscig was taken into custody and transported to the Central Booking Office. After processing, she appeared before a District Court Commissioner and was released on unsecured personal bail.

Baltimore police arrest 15-year-old for weapons and drug possession in Western District

BALTIMORE, Maryland. — A 15-year-old male was arrested on weapons and drug charges Thursday afternoon in Baltimore's Western District. The arrest occurred on August 15, 2024 at approximately 1:40 p.m. in the 2100 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.

Western District officers were conducting an investigation in the area when they noticed the juvenile exhibiting behaviors similar to that of an armed individual. After stopping the suspect, officers conducted a brief investigation and discovered a loaded handgun and controlled dangerous substances (CDS).

The 15-year-old was taken into custody and transported to the Juvenile Detention Center where he was charged with weapons and drug offenses. Baltimore Police continue their efforts to combat illegal gun possession and drug trafficking in the community.
