A Lawton man avoided trial by pleading guilty to methamphetamine trafficking.

The trial of Cedric Antonio Way, 37, in the courtroom of Comanche County Presiding District Judge Emmit Tayloe was scheduled to begin Monday. On Friday, he pleaded guilty blind to charges of aggravated trafficking in illegal drugs, using a telephone to commit a crime and possession of a firearm after a previous felony conviction.
