Get ready for the iPhone 16: Leaks reveal new designs, a super-powerful battery and camera upgrades

In terms of display, the iPhone 16 Pro models will have slightly larger screens. The Pro model is expected to grow from 6.1 inches to 6.3 inches, and the Pro Max will grow from 6.7 inches to almost 6.9 inches, improving the viewing experience but potentially making one-handed use more difficult.

The series will be powered by the new A18 chip, which promises improved performance and energy efficiency. All models are expected to come with 8GB of RAM and could benefit from a new graphene thermal system. The Pro models could also offer up to 2TB of storage, but this is not yet confirmed.

Battery upgrades are also expected: The iPhone 16 will have a 3,561mAh battery and the Plus model will have a 4,006mAh battery. The Pro versions are expected to have a 3,577mAh battery, while the Pro Max could come with a 4,676mAh battery. The iPhone 16 series may support 40W wired fast charging and 20W MagSafe charging to accommodate the larger batteries.

As for the camera, Apple is testing a new optical anti-reflective coating that should improve photo quality by minimizing lens flare and ghosting. The Pro models are expected to feature an improved 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, improved low-light performance, and possibly a super-telephoto periscope camera for improved optical zoom capabilities.

Stay tuned for official announcements and more details about the iPhone 16 series as the launch date approaches.
