Mandy Rose reveals NBA legend Shaq contacted her after WWE release after her X-rated content was leaked

In 2022, Mandy Rose finally got the kind of booking she had worked hard for throughout her time in WWE, but her NXT run and subsequent formation of a faction, Toxic Attraction, were life-changing for Rose. She later managed to capture the WWE Women's NXT Championship and had a triumphant run, but before she could return to the main roster, she was released from the company.

The main reason for Mandy Rose's dismissal was that she uploaded and sold her X-rated image on OnlyFans. After some X-rated images of Mandy Rose from her fan time went viral and became known to WWE, management asked Rose to either delete her OnlyFans and FanTime profiles or decide to pursue a WWE career.

Mandy Rose made tons of money selling content on OnlyFans and Fantime and decided to create content for OnlyFans instead of WWE. Shortly after Rose made her decision, she was released from the company and lost her NXT Women's title to Roxanne Perez on a regular episode of NXT.

Recently, Mandy Rose revealed during a chat on the I-95 Morning Show that NBA legend Shaq checked on her after she made headlines following her WWE exit.

Mandy Rose said, “Shaq. But it wasn't scary or anything; it was when I got released. Super cool guy; I've heard really great things about him. I think I met him in person once. It was when I got released and the newspaper articles and all that crazy stuff came out.

The former NXT Women's Champion continued, “It was really sweet. He just messaged me and said, 'Hang in there, you're awesome. I love you, kid,' or something like, 'Everything's going to be OK.' It's one of those things. He must have seen something and probably felt bad. That was really cool.”

In an interview with the Heated Shenanigans Podcast, Mandy Rose revealed how she took the news of her demotion from the main roster to the NXT brand. Rose revealed that she felt motivated throughout and didn't see it as a demotion, but rather as a challenge, as she wasn't really happy with her place on the main roster. She felt like she had a lot to give, and in NXT, she delivered.

Mandy Rose revealed: “I was kind of at a point where I wasn't particularly happy with what was happening to me on television and where I was at. I felt like I had more potential and could show the WWE and NXT Universe more. I felt like it was really a great time to do it.”

Shaquille O'Neal made his first WWE appearance in 2006 at WrestleMania 22, where he faced Big Show. After a decade, Shaq returned to the ring at the 2016 WWE Royal Rumble, taking part in the traditional 30-man Royal Rumble match.

Shaq's last professional wrestling appearance was in 2021 with AEW. The NBA legend teamed up with Jade Cargill.

Jade Cargill is currently in WWE. She was the first Superstar from AEW to move from AEW to WWE. She is currently allied with former WWE Women's Champion Bianca Belair. She and Belair were even WWE Women's Tag Team Champions.
