Prosecutor: Drug dealer sentenced to prison after DEA agents raid Bradenton home

A judge sentenced a Bradenton man to 20 years and eight months in prison for drug trafficking, the Middle District of Florida Attorney General's Office announced.

Jamal Trevorah, 31, was charged with possession with intent to resell various controlled substances and possession of a firearm for a drug offense. Trevorah pleaded guilty in June 2022, a news release said.

On May 4, 2021, Drug Enforcement Administration agents searched a home on 16th Street West in Bradenton, where they found a shoebox containing 83 grams of cocaine, 66 grams of cocaine base, 40 grams of meth and 18 grams of fentanyl, according to a press release.

Drug agents said they also found an American Tactical .45 pistol loaded with eight rounds of ammunition, a cutting agent, razor blades, scales and other ammunition.

After searching the house, drug agents searched a motel room and found a lunchbox containing $22,540 in cash.

According to a press release, federal agents also said they saw Trevorah leave the motel room to sell drugs to people.
