2 seriously injured in scooter accident in Little Village

On Friday evening, a scooter collided with a car on Chicago's Southwest Side, leaving a 20-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man in critical condition.

The accident occurred at approximately 6:09 p.m. in the 3300 block of South Pulaski Road.

According to police reports, the scooter, driven by a woman and with the man as a passenger, was traveling north on Pulaski Road when he attempted to change lanes. The scooter collided with a gray sedan.

Both occupants of the scooter sustained serious injuries. The driver suffered trauma and a shoulder injury, while the passenger was hospitalized for head trauma. Chicago Fire Department paramedics transported both victims to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition.

The driver of the limousine was not injured. No charges have been filed so far. Accident investigators are currently looking into the incident.
