Due to a rollover accident this morning, road 347 is closed in the southbound direction

Due to a rollover accident, State Route 347 southbound is closed between Riggs Road and Cement Plant Road.

According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, the accident occurred shortly before 3 a.m. near the Pinal County border, north of Cement Plant Road.

Traffic cameras show ADOT personnel and Arizona State Troopers at the intersection of Cement Plant Road.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety is “investigating a single-vehicle rollover accident involving personal injury,” a DPS spokesman said InMaricopa“The extent of the injuries and the cause of the collision are unknown.”

It is currently unclear when the road will reopen.
