Comedian Perry Kurtz, who performed on “America's Got Talent” and “The Late Late Show with James Corden” and numerous other venues over the course of his decades-long career, was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Tarzana. A suspect was arrested early this morning at his home in Reseda.

The collision was reported at 11:20 p.m. Thursday, and Los Angeles police officers responded to 19563 Ventura Blvd., south of the 101 Freeway. When they arrived, witnesses told police that a suspect driving a dark-colored sedan east on Ventura struck the man, who was walking outside the crosswalk, and then sped away from the scene, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.
