Man arrested in death of Nashville woman who disappeared in 2024

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) – Police arrested a man Friday night in connection with the death of a woman who disappeared in Nashville in early 2024.

Miles Williams, 39, was charged with first-degree murder in the death of Emily Bradley, 44, who was found in the Whites Creek area near Buena Vista Pike in early March. The medical examiner ruled her death from blunt force trauma.

Before Bradley was found, friends and family began a massive search for her. Her friends told NewsChannel 5 at the time that they found her dog, who is her emotional support, alone with the heater on.

The investigation revealed that Bradley was last seen with Williams, her boyfriend. According to police, Williams refused to speak to investigators but stated that he had taken drugs before his arrest.

He was taken to the General Hospital and upon his release he will face murder charges.

She is over 80 and almost blind. Woman from Franklin continues to crochet for those in need

“Here's a great story that proves that everyone has something to give, regardless of age OR personal challenges. Our Austin Pollack introduces us to Ms. Sylvia Mooney. At 80 years old, she is not sitting still. Instead, she is using her skills to create compassion for others… one stitch at a time. Her crochet work goes to nonprofits to help our homeless neighbors. You might be surprised to know that she manages to do all of this while battling a serious health issue. Bravo Sylvia!”
